An all wooden pub with a mix of customers from smart suits to football groups watching the giant telly. 10 real ales on the bar & several decent bottled beers in the fridges. Traditional pub food (burgers, lasagne etc with chips) done well. Friendly staff & a big pile of newspapers make it a pub you want to spend time in. Glasgow's 2nd best pub next to Blackfriars. Despite being in Scotland for only a few days & wanting to try some Scottish beers, I drank a Darkstar Hophead & a Little Valley Moor Ale. Both of which were really rather good.
