Below are some of the bottled Belgian beers I've tasted.   I've not included the specialist gueuzes or lambics.

The beers above represent the type of thing that makes it across the waters to Blighty really.  Not fully representative of the full range available in Belgium, but indicative of:

  • Beers need to be of a certain minimum standard to warrant export to the UK
  • The beers imported reflect what people will actually buy, rather than what is actually the best.

Hence no very high nor very low scores.
