This is the last beer ever brewed & packaged at Ushers of Trowbridge - a regional brewery in Wiltshire that I worked for in the late '90's. Contract brewing was a big part of the business & generic lager of one sort or another was bottled 24 hours a day. Cask beers were also brewed & some were really good too.
The brewery closed in 2000 as it was not profitable enough & the stainless steel brew kit sold to the North Koreans to brew the "Pride of Pyongyang" lager.
The brew card is signed by the remaining brewery staff who stayed to the end to see the last beer out of the doors.
