A proper pub made from the old railway station at Ravenglass with railway signs above the bar.   Four hand pumps, but on this winter Monday night there were only two in use which is understandable.

Plenty of choice in traditional pub food at a reasonable price.   One of the casks (Independent Lakeland Breweries, Aurora) had clearly been broached at the beginning of the weekend & had been on just a day too long, but was still drinkable.   The other (Independent Lakeland Breweries, Gold Wing) was served perfectly.

Wifi for customers & a friendly service.   Local for the little steam Ratty railway to explore more good pubs inland or the main railway to Barrow or Whitehaven & Workington if you've already walked the footpaths around the estuary.
