A cross-over beer between a traditional German weissbier & a Scottish 80/- beer. There is the stereotypical wheat, clove & banana flavour that you'd get in a beer like Schneider Weisse & a soft, sweetish maltiness that a beer like Caledonian 80/- has an abundance of. Just a touch of cloud, rather than the full turbidity of many weissbiers & a more restrained beer than many new-wave breweries produce.

DM's verdict - I like it - its fairly true to style & what it says on the label.

Mrs DM's verdict - Like it.
